Still adverts - Do we recognise small bits of the advert without fully knowing what the main message is?

We know this is a mcdonalds burger, we also recognise the sign of the 'apple' from apple products such as iphone, ipad, imac etc. Without the advert saying much we automatically get the joke. This suggests that if people like apple they should go to mcdonalds. As they brought apple and mcdonalds together people who are big fans of apple (as its very popular) may be more likely to go to mcdonalds after seeing this advert.

We recognise 'get some nuts' when related to snickers chocolate bar. The quote can be interpreted different to. This suggests that the chocolate bar is 'manly'. If you eat it you will be more 'hard'.
